Planned activities for the Week of February 20-24

• Southeast end of Horsetooth Reservoir

A large crane will continue setting new power poles.

• Pineridge Natural Area

A helicopter will be used to ferry concrete needed for the foundation of the last and southernmost transmission pole of a line being rebuilt by Platte River Power Authority in the Pineridge Natural Area. This activity may occur as early as Wednesday February 22, weather and other circumstances permitting. Use of a helicopter will avoid potential damage that might be caused if concrete trucks were driven across the natural area to deliver the concrete. Concrete trucks will be staged at a pull off near the intersection of County Rd 38E and Centennial. Traffic control will be in place at the staging area.
